Around here, we celebrate everyday – because life is awesome and should be celebrated!
Today, my oldest daughter Iyla hit a milestone: she turned 100 Months Old!
I know, it’s not common practice to celebrate (or even recognize) this occasion; and trust me, I do not count my kids’ ages by month (there are days I can barely remember how old they are in years, ha!) BUT, 100 Months is a pretty cool reason to shower your little one with a little extra love and attention!
Iyla’s special day fell on a Friday (school day) so we celebrated with a special breakfast.
I set out some simple decorations the night before: a colored table cloth, colored place settings, a paper pom garland, felt banner, and a few handmade signs (scrapbook stickers on paper, easy peasy). At Iyla’s seat I set a glittery bow, new set of shopkins, and a 100th Birthday Card that I modified a little to say “months”.
She was truly surprised (and admittedly, a little confused) when she woke up and realized that the decor was for her. Once I explained, she was thrilled and declared today her “LUCKIEST DAY EVER!”
We had a special breakfast of Belgian waffles with whipped cream and I gave her a new outfit and slippers to wear today. Later tonight we are having her favorite dinner (Fish Tacos) and a Sander’s Birthday Cake (a family fav). We have a 100 themed gift box for her to open tonight that includes: The book 100 Dresses, a pack of 100 stickers, a 100 piece puzzle, 100 Oreos, and 100 post it flags (girlfriend loves office supplies, just like her mama!)
EVERYTHING for today’s celebration came from Target or our party-box here at home. Such an easy way to shine some extra love on my special girl. :: 100 Months of Happy with sweet #iylarue ::

What you said is so true, there is more things to explore about dreams but I'm not sure what are dreams that comes in the minds of people while living in this world.
